So, no one should ever post a recipe for ice cream because it's bad for you and you wouldn't serve it to your family? Ridiculous.

This is a delicious indulgence. Just because its not the healthiest doesn't mean its not tasty. By the way, 5 lbs of potatoes is 15 servings when you divide it up.

absolutely yummy! If you are looking for healthy low fat...well too bad. This recipe is worth the extra butter and cream cheese. Best I've ever had!

if you feel that the recipe is fatty for you then just don't make it or here is a thought get creative and use NON or LOW fat ingredients. some people have NO imagination. i get that this where you voice your opinion (that's what I am doing but my goodness don't come on here and bash it just because you wouldn't "feel comfortable serving something with that much fat to your family" so you have never eaten at a fast food restaurant? REALLY...just saying! YOU ROCK REE KEEP THE FATTY RECIPES COMING!

Nice to have a recipe for make-ahead mashed potatoes. But, I will be using about 1/2 the fat.

I LOVE these potatoes! They are easy to make and can be made in advance which scores big points for us full time students that work! However, for my carnivorous hubby I add crumbled bacon and thinly sliced green onions.
