To those who complain that the recipe is unhealthy-don't make it. You don't have to eat this way EVERY day. Just nice to have some good comfort foods maybe for a weekend dinner or special occasion. I'm looking forward to watching Ree's show. Welcome to The Food Network! Looks like it will be a fun show to watch.

You have got to be kidding me..... I wouldn't feel comfortable serving something so unhealthy to my family! I have used recipes from PW's blog, but this is just ridiculous.

I have Ree's cookbook and these are delicious. These are a must do - especially for a dinner party or gathering. It's so nice to have them done ahead of time.

Love this recipe!! To georgigirly7-If this type of cooking show doesn't interest you and the food seems not to healthy, don't watch it and don't try any of the recipes. Seems you are out numbered with the negative comment. I feel it is uplifting to see the great example of what it is to be a "Family". LOVE this show and looking forward to more great recipes. Especially the Baked French Toast.

Amazing mashed potatoes! I only had small red potatoes in the house, so I used them and didn't peel the potatoes. It was still creamy and delicious. I love the addition of seasoned salt! I have a huge jar of it from Costco. I never thought to add it to mashed potatoes, but now I will never go without it. East and quick to make. The whole family loved this dish.

Loved your show!! I love that it incorporates life on the ranch and all the footage of the guys being cowboys! Love that! It's something new and refreshing while also showing down home rib sticking good food. Keep up the good work! PS: keep the photos of your husbands cute butt coming! Unlike the previous poster, I love the photos! Guess I'm just a silly girl, wouldn't have it any other way! ;

I've used this recipe for a long time, and my family loves it. I'm so glad to see PW on FN. I was a little disappointed that her meal didn't have some type of bread...it is a "must" at our house. Loved the show!

My husband and I just went to heaven eating these! Holy cow, we will never eat another mashed potato recipe again! Maybe next time we'll try regular milk and low fat cream cheese to cut out the fat, but man, it's SO worth it if you only eat these for special occasions! After seeing the premiere tonight, I am going to start following your blog Ree! Thanks!
