This was a hit with my family. Loved the rustic look. I have NEVER had any luck making a pie crust until today. Many thanks Ree for this recipe. I NOW can make a pie crust and I got raves about how good this pie was.

This is a great pie. The flavor is wonderful. I read reviews and only used 3 T butter on top pies and I added 1 t. cinnamon to apples. My pies oozed a small amount. I lined pans with parchment paper and clean up was easy. I will make this again. Fabulous crust, just plain good., I made the carmel sauce too. Super Super combination.

This was my very first pie! I thought it was very easy to do. I made sure to chill the pie crust for a couple hours first (says to do so in the video, but not the recipe. I added an extra tbsp of flour like someone said and also cinnamon to the pie filling. I was going to cut the recipe, but I think I will surprise my sister with the other pie later today. : Thanks Ree!

Delicious and easy! I did cheat and did not make my own crust. I had a couple of pillsbury ready made crusts in the freezer and used those. I will make sure I try it with the homemade crust. My apples were kind of tart but still good. The caramel sauce was the greatest and easiest ever. I poured it on my piece and added some whip cream! YUMMY!!

This is absolutely the best apple pie I have ever had. I didn't have ripe apples so I used apple pie filling and added sugar to it. The homemade crust is out of this world and the caramel topping is to die for. Easy to make.

So yummy! I used store bought pie crust and added 1 tsp. cinnamon. Yes, the pie crust does leak if you don't seal it up. Just anticipate it will leak and curl foil around the edges to prevent a mess in your oven. It is so easy and so good! Thank you Ree!

I just saw this on Food Network this morning and really wanted to try it. After reading all of the reviews, I made the following changes: Used 3 tbsp of flour, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, and boxed pie crust. I put each tart in its own glass pie plate and baked on a Cooke tray lined with a Silpat. They are delicious. I won't make the caramel sauce, just a dusting of confectioners sugar.
