This was sooooo delicious. We loved it, now it's a fam fav!!! I made this twice, once using fresh ear corn and it was spot on, then once I made it trying to cut corners and used canned corn, big mistake, you might think not much difference but it really didn't taste very good. So use the fresh ear corn :

Excellent recipe - I too used less cream - no milk but love the ease and taste of this recipe - total keeper. Thank you.

Made a mistake in lower post and it won't let me correct it. Use only one stick for a single batch, I forgot we made a double and used two sticks. Liked how easy it was to make this Corn casserole! I left out the 1/2 cup of milk, since others said it was too watery. Glad I did~ I also added a bit of wondra powder in with the cream, and added a bit of parmesan. Turned out great and it was the first thing gone on the buffet table with people wanting the recipe!

The dish turned out to be soupy just as most of reviews mentioned. The taste was good so I simply scooped out the excess liquid and heated it in a pot adding 1/2 tsp cornstarch to give it a thicker consistency and then mixed the resulting sauce to the rest of the corn dish. It turned out to be great!

Thanks to Vinofabuloso, Oct 1, 2011, for supplying the very important tenderloin recipe! Too bad it wasn't part of the published recipes. Also, would love to get the brownie recipe that was on that show. Anybody??? This corn caserole sounds great. Will make it for my husband's BD today. He's 69 years old TODAY!!!
NOTE: The above was yesterday, and YES I did make the corn casserole. Everybody loved it. Still waiting for the brownie recipe and chocolate sauce. Hope someone knows how to make it.

I'm not a huge fan of red bell pepper so I only used one, and I used half and half because that is what I had on hand. Other than those changes, I followed the recipe exactly. SO AMAZING!!!! I will be making this dish again.

I followed the recipe but was disappointed that it came out very watery and the butter rose to the top and didn't look very appetizing.
