I have tried this recipe.
This recipe is a avocado salad certainly not guacamole. It seems that almost all food network chefs do not have a clue about tex-mex.
Guacamole is mashed avocado. It is not left in chunks as you did. Also, the star of guacamole is the mashed avocado. In your recipe the avocado takes second place to the onion, cilantro and tomato.
I would have given this a "0" had that been available. The texture of this dish in no way resembles traditional guacamole.

Been making guacamole for years, impressing my friends with my talents, ha ha...this recipe is great to add pico de gallo. I usually just add plenty of garlic salt, chopped up cilantro, some lime juice, and sometimes chopped tomatoes and onions when I have them on hand, otherwise it's great with just the avocado, garlic salt and lime! Great recipe, thanks Ree!!
