To Nora1263 with the cake sticking: I used paper cupcake liners and filled from the top by using an apple corer to remove cake(be careful not to cut all the way through the bottomand then frosted. You can cut the filling and ganache in 1/2.These were fantastic!

Ms Drummond, the name, heavenly, does NOT do these cupcakes justice. My family truly loved them and I WILL replace my recipe with yours.

I can only comment on the creme filling part of the recipe but OMG it is so good... I made my own cupcakes & different frosting, but the filling recipe was easy to follow, & very tasty! I would not change a thing! Yummy thank you Ree Drummond! Very good!!!!

Yummy! Everyone at work (who's up for the calorie challenge is in love with these cupcakes. I tried the cupcake recipe from scratch but it didn't fair well at 7,000 ft. After the failed cupcake attempt I picked a box cake mix and made the rest from scratch. I didn't have corn syrup for the ganache but it seemed to come out just fine without it. I made about 18 cupcakes (from the box mix filled just above the 1/2 way mark and had just enough filling for all of them, luckily none of them burst but they are filled to the max. I did have a lot of the ganache left over. I generously sprayed the muffin tins with "Baking" spray (contains flour just before I started the cake mix and had no problem getting them to fall right out.

Very good! Rich though. I added a bit of cinammon to the flour mix. Also, since it was Valentine's Day, I put some red food coloring in the filling mix (which, I agree, half it. I also added some Valentine jimmies on top. I like the bittersweet chocolate...any other type for my taste would be way too rich and sweet. I enjoyed taking the time to make these...if you are pressed for time and don't enjoy baking, you may think this recipe is more of a chore.

    Rave reviews from the family!

I am very frustrated! My cupcakes are sticking to the bottom of the pan. I have made 2 batches and have thoroughly greased pans. Help anyone?

These cupcakes look nice, shiny with perfect round tops,of course after all the fat from the filling and ganache is added, it has to taste good, however the chocolate cake recipe is only ok.

These are wonderful!! My only issue is to omit the corn syrup in the ganache. I don't think it is needed and with out it the chocolate would set up better, I think. Otherwise, the cake is so moist and just chocolatey enough to satisfy any sweet tooth!
