This recipe turned out exellent the first time! I have never made bbq sauce and my husband and I decided to try this recipe. We doubled the recipe and added two drops of smokey flavor and some smokey misquite seasonings. Now we will make our own bbq sauce...way more delicious than anything one can buy!

My family loved this. My daughter loved helping make it and the taste is amazing. It went well with the chicken

This sauce is the best if you are looking for smoky and sweet. I only use some sauce from the chipotle and it's hot enough for me. I ALWAYS double the recipe. It's so tasty that I dip my bread in it.

Super recipe, easy to make. I have to make 2 batches of sauce as my g/f is not into spicy foods. So for her batch I switched the vinegar for 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar, a 1/3 c spicy mustard, 1/3 c honey and omitted the salt and peppers. She is a fan! My batch I stayed with those extras as well as adding in the peppers using jalapenos(?.

My husband said these were the best ribs he'd ever had. Thanks to this BBQ sauce! I made them in the crock pot. My whole family (kids ages 10, 7, and 5 were fighting over who could have seconds.

Delicious and easy - just the right amount of smoky, tangy, sweet, & spicy!

Very good! Instead of chipotles I used habaneros - sautéed them in the first step with the onion. Definately a make again!

Recently tried this recipe for a pork tenderloin I was preparing. I didn't have molasses or fresh chipotle peppers on hand, but used Karo syrup and chipotle powder instead. It was a great sweet and spicy sauce that the whole family loved. I will try it again soon with the molasses. Easy and simple to prepare.
