My family and I love pancakes, so I was anxious to try this recipe. These pancakes are very yummy--just the right blend of blueberry and lemon. They are even good without syrup. Some other reviews have mentioned the batter was runny. . .At first I thought it might be a bit runny, but they cooked up perfectly. I will be making these again. These would even make a great "breakfast" for dinner as they are filling.

Absolutely delicious! I made these this morning, following the recipie exactly using cake flour and evaporated milk. So easy to make and everyone loved them. We found them light and so flavourful. I made a second batch and put them in the freezer so I can enjoy them the rest of this week! Keep up the good work Ree !!!

These turned out exactly as PW says. Delicious and easy to make. Don't adjust milk down! I made it as is and they turned out great. In fact the batter was a bit thick so I thinned it a bit by adding an extra 1/4 cup of milk.

These pancakes are rich! Not an everyday go to recipe however, when having a breakfast buffet or special occasion like a birthday they're perfect.

Note: I used whole milk and AP flour not cake flour.

Made these this morning and they are delicious! I had no problems with the batter being too thin; in fact, I had to thin it out a bit with additional milk. I doubled the recipe and used one can of evaporated milk(12 oz. and 12 oz. of whole milk for a total of 3 cups. Once I let the lemon juice/milk mixture sit for a few minutes, it really thickened up. Thanks for a great recipe....it's a keeper!

very good pancakes. I follow her blog as well, and used evaporated milk instead of whole milk. I also didn't level off the flour when measuring and that seems to have solved the thin batter issue.

As previously mentioned, the batter is pretty thin. I would suggest cutting down the amount of liquid. If you follow her website/blog, she mentions that she used whole milk instead of evaporated milk on the show, BUT she prefers the evaporated milk. I followed the written recipe and other than my batter being too thin, it was really good. For those of you watching your figure, I'd find another recipe instead of bashing this one. There are plenty of figure friendly recipes and shows to suit your lifestyle. My family enjoyed this recipe a lot and we think it is a keeper.

1-1/2 cups of milk plus an egg is way too much liquid for 1-1/2 cups of flour. I cut the liquid down to 3/4 cup and it helped to make the batter a little thicker. This is not my favorite recipe for Blueberry pancakes.

They looked tasty but I will definitely once again eliminating the amount of butter she puts in her recipe. She uses as much as Paula does.

On the show she used whole milk not evaporated milk. I recorded it so I went back before I printed this out and looked again. It was definitely whole milk.
