My husband says this is the best mac and cheese he has ever had...and he is not easy to please! I added a bread crumb topping for texture. It was delicious!

This was so wonderful, in my 50+ years, I've never allowed myself the pleasure of homemade mac & cheese. I couldn't keep my spoon out of the creamy goodness! My only trouble was then moving it to a dish to bake...it came out of the oven totally un-creamy (the sauce had broken. I'll try it again, but will either serve it from the stove top (so perfect! or just keep it "warm" in the oven for no more than 10 minutes or so.

This is the mac and cheese recipe I've been looking for all my cooking life! The only changes I made was using medium cheddar instead of sharp and about half the amount of dry mustard. This is a really flavorful, creamy mac and cheese. I like that it's ready to eat right away, or can be baked in the oven. I made this for Christmas and again at Easter and everyone loves it...the best mac and cheese recipe ever. It's a keeper!

This Mac and Cheese was awesome! it tasted very simular to the mac and cheese my grandmother use to make. I was looking for something to go with a baked ham, and this was perfect!

I only changed two things about this recipe...I used 8 oz Sharp Cheddar and 8 oz Monterey Jack cheese...I also seasoned up some Panko for the top. This was a HIT! 11 X 9 Inch Casserole dish...EMPTY!

I just made this for dinner, absolutely loved it, omitted the mustard only because I didn't have it, but will definitely try it next time! I put the mac n cheese in buttered ramekins for individual portions, and everyone liked their own dish.I must say that I didn't cook in oven for as long as she said only because I wanted to keep the creamy consistency. I salted the pasta water to add extra flavor to the pasta. This is a must try recipe for all!!

This was very creamy but definitely needs some added spice as was suggested as optional at the end of the recipe. Otherwise it is just a typical mac and cheese dish.

LOVED IT! Great Mac and Cheese! Be careful not to make the same mistake I did....I watched the episode and Ree uses 2 boxes of macaroni. So when I made mine I also used 2 boxes (because I was cooking for a crowd. Then as I was making the cheese sauce I realized my mistake. The online recipe was written for 1 box of macaroni. So I had to make a second batch of cheese sauce! After all that the mac and cheese turned out great. We will certainly be making this again. I was hesitate about the dry mustard so I used just 2 tsp for the double batch of cheese sauce I made. Thanks Ree!!
