These cookies are great! After reading reviews I used salted butter, and cut the salt in the recipe in half. They were great & my kids, husband, and neighbors loved them. They do spread out, so keep the dough in the fridge while baking the other batches so your dough doesn't get too warm.

These cookies come out looking just like they did on the show! Plus they are soooo delicious. The perfect combination of crispy along the edges and soft and chewy! The malted milk is the rock star ingredient in this recipe!

This recipe is very similar to a trademark in the baking world called Toll-house. It has left out some of the flour and added baking soda to make it seem somewhat original. The malt powder, while a wonderful idea, is no subtitute for wheat flour. Mismax has a great idea in using malted milk balls along with or in place of chips. These recipes should be tested multiple times by food network interns to make sure they work consistently for everyone, lovers of Ree or not. This show could use an infusion of ideas from viewers and professionals.

These cookies are now my family's favorite. In a matter of three days I have made two batches! My sons friend said that "I'm in heaven" while eating a cookie. Love it! This is now the Sunday Football Gathering cookie request! Thanks!

I love these cookies! On her blog, Ree says to make sure that you use unsalted butter. I have made them both ways (unsalted butter & salted butter and DEFINITELY use unsalted butter. The salted butter makes them way too salty! Done correctly, they're sweet, salty, malty, chocolate, and crunchy. What more could you want in a cookie? I might make another batch tonight!

These were pretty tasty. I always have malted milk powder on hand because I use it in my pancake recipe. Next time, I think I'll replace half of the chocolate chips with chopped malted milk balls.

To NoOkieFanokie: Why are your reviews only for Pioneer Woman and they are mostly all 1 stars? If you dislike her show so much, please do not watch it and stop posting your phony reviews.

The cookies are great! My husband, daughter, and her boyfriend loved them. Just remember to give plenty of space on the baking sheet. The cookie dough is awesome to eat too!

Made these for Sunday lunch dessert. One of my top 5 favorite cookies of all time. Still soft 3 hours later. Will keep this recipe handy. Did not have any baking soda on hand. Did not matter. These are awesome.
