The boys in my family loved this from the first time I made it. Always a winner in our house!

I've been making these since I found them on PW's blog a couple years ago. My family loves them! We always like butter-toasted hoagie rolls and added cheese. We will eat this until every drop is gone!

Ree-lisious My son a I are picky eaters and we both love this sandwhich. I have made it several times and it is tender enough for me and tasty enough to please him. We also use Ree's recipe for chicken fried and salsbury steak. Thank you for your kid friendly meals

My husband LOVED these!!!! He has insisted I make these almost weekly for him. They are what he requested for his birthday dinner. We like these a touch spicy so I added more hot sauce than called for. I buttered and toasted the hoagie rolls I used on my cast iron griddle and we sprinkled a little shredded mozzarella on the sandwiches. Great recipe for my country boy!!!

Awesome! I only used 1 stick of butter for entire recipe and added red bell peppers to the onions. Tastes amazing. Steak, yes cubed steak, was tender and not overcooked. Perhaps some previous posters didn't get a good quality. Is there a good/bad quality of cubed steak? I don't know. I beat mine up a little more so maybe that helped too. We will be eating this again and again. Thanks Ree!

Thank you Ree! This is first time for me to try your recipe. My husband loved it! I used only 1/4 cup worcestershire though it was quite enough for us. I will definitely try again.

Very good and tasty! I put about 1/3 cup of worcestershire and a couple of splashes of franks hot sauce, otherwise followed the recipe. The meat was tender, I had fresh cube steaks though.

I am really confused by the reviews saying this was tough. Are they using cube steak? When cooked on a high sear as the recipe states (and not over cooking it this is fall apart tender. If you over cook it - you are going to get a tough meat.

Love the flavor of this and how quick it is. I love adding in the bell peppers and mushrooms that Ree does for her favorite sandwich. Gives it a little something.

My husband barely ate two bites - tough and greasy. Would not ever make again or recommend.

Very tasty recipe! I used cholula hot sauce rather than tobasco, 1/4 cup of worcestershire sauce and at least 2 tbs less butter and it turned out great. I also used 'sandwich beef/steak' not the cube steak. I will definitely make this again.
