Just ruined a double batch of these rice crispies by adding the salt.
No party favor bags for the party tomorrow.

Everyone in the family loved them! The only changes I made to this recipe were using regular butter (instead of salted and I did not add the 1/4 tsp. salt. They still tasted great.

Perfect and timeless...The salt takes it away from typical. The second time I went to make them i was out of rice krispies so we used Lucky Charms, no need for small marshmallows...We love them either way...

If I could, I would give this 10 stars!! I've never made these homemade before but I can say this, I will not be buying them out of the store anymore.....these were soooooo good and moist, my kids loved them! I plan on making more for our Thanksgiving dinner, thank you Ree!

My daughter and I made these last night and they are great. They put the old fashion rice crispy treat to shame. I love getting her in the kitchen to help. We gave all ours away, so already planning on making more. :

Made these for Halloween- a big hit. Topped some with candy corn, some with 1/2 a candy pumpkin. If you divide the pan into 20 they fit nicely into snack bags for giving and preserving freshness. Really are moist! The best!
