Family loved this. My seven year old ate 2 whole pieces and with the old meatloaf recipe I was lucky to get her to eat half a piece. My eleven year old begged me to make it after we saw the episode of The Pioneer Recipe where Ree made this. Huge thumbs up for this one in our house for the simple fact my husband or daughters don't want onions in their food.

OMG....So good. My family loved this recipe. I am so excited to have found someone who makes such simple, good recipes for my simple family. This meatloaf was so great. The bacon was an added treat. I would say to double the sauce recipe so you can have plenty for dipping afterwards. My family said that would make it perfect. Thumbs up!!!!

Easy to put together and it came out just like it did on TV! Best meatloaf I've ever made or eaten. Left overs made a great sandwich. Love it!

This meatloaf was so bland. Love the texture, loved the sauce, but it just didn't have any flavor. The bacon kept it from drying out in the oven, but my husband wouldn't eat it as it seemed "raw". Think I'll try it one more time, and perhaps add a pkg. of onion soup mix. Or maybe some steak seasoning. It just needs more flavor.

Not good, the bread gives it a weird texture, my fam didn't care for it at all, I'm sticking to bread crumbs or oats. Nice try though.

We have never liked meatloaf but gave this recipe a try and my Family Loved it !!!!! Took a plate to my Pastor and she said it was the best she ever tasted in her life and she comes from a long line of Good cooks ! Thanks LOVE your shoe ! Whole family watches !!!!

The meatloaf tasted like bacon. Nothing else. I would never make it again. Thank God I only made half a recipe. Not worth the time or effort

Ree I want to say that I love your show and all your recipes great and tasty. My family loved the meat loaf recipe. I am a cook as well and I also tried this recipe with Lean ground turkey meat instead of ground beef and used turkey bacon instead of pork bacon and I have to say this still turned out delicous! Thanks for all your great recipes.
