The recipe looked fairly similar to my own family's, so I decided to give it a try. Without thinking about it, I made the sweet sauce to go over the loaf, not realizing I wouldn't care for the sweetness from the brown sugar. The meatloaf isn't as moist as my own and doesn't have a great deal of flavor that I could determine. It turned out very dense with a heavy sweet sauce baked into the top which I don't care for. I'll be sticking with my old family recipe.

This recipe is the worst meatloaf we've ever had; sorry to be brutally honest. No disrespect meant. Making this was a waste of time and money! If food network can send me a check for $15 to replace my ingredients, I'd much appreciate it. I wish I could give it a rating lower than 1 star. I have no clue as to how this meatloaf rated 5 stars with some folks. Must not have tried the recipe for themselves.

Great flavor but thought the sauce was to sweet for the meat. The bacon didn't crisp at all so i had to peel it off so my kids would eat it! Love Ree and all her recipes!

OMG! The best daggone meatloaf I've ever made. I did, however, put the loaf in a glass baking dish with about 4 strips of bacon on top. Just too lazy to clean the broiler pan! Thanks, Ree... this is the first of your recipes I've tried and I'm sure I'll be looking for more.

An absolute family favorite! Even though meatloaf is one of my hubby's favorites, I have never, ever liked it, although I have tried making meatloaf using many, many different recipes. My hubby and I were watching Pioneer Woman one day, and my hubby thought this looked great, so I gave it a try. Wow!!! We loved it!! With the easy sauce and the bacon wrapping, it is simple to make, turns out beautifully and makes the best sandwiches the next day, so a double batch is a great idea. Thanks for this wonderful recipe!

I have at least a dozen meatloaf recipes to choose from but wanted something new to try. I saw this episode of Pioneer Woman and thought this would be the perfect choice. Well, I am very pleased as this meatloaf was absolutely DELICIOUS. I didn't change a thing and my family loved it. Thanks Ree, and keep sharing your wonderful recipes.

This is meatloaf is amazing delicious!!! After reading the reviews I double this amazing sauce and to the meat loaf I added onion powder and garlic powder I also added more salt. My husband loves meatloaf so I was worried he wouldn't like it but he loved it!!! Simple recipe to follow thank you Ree!!! Oh I also broiled for about 10-15 minutes to crisp the bacon!! I cooked my meatloaf to 160 degrees.. mmmmmm Huge Hit!!
