Absolutely perfect! It was my first meatloaf we ate every scrap. The only deviation from the recipe was that I used dried parsely instead of fresh. Don't change anything! Thanks Ree!

Simply a great meatloaf. Was looking to get away from the old onion soup junk. What a great change. I did add some chopped onion and sweet red pepper. Not too much onion though. The simple sauce is great. I normally use gravy with meatloaf, but not this one. It made enough for two loafs for my wife and myself. I froze half and we can't wait for the next time. Thanks Ree.

I have been cooking for over 50 years and have tried many recipes but have to tell you this meatloaf was wonderful. My husband, who is truly a meat and potatoes kind of guy, said it is the best he has ever tasted. I recommend this recipe highly. Since we are empty nesters I cut the recipe in half and it still turned out great.

Delicious! I used ground turkey and followed the directions exactly. I used whole grain bread since that is all we use. I did add my special touch of lipton onion soup mix. Yummy! My husband loved it. He said especially the sauce!! I wished I could have added more hotsauce but I have a 3 yr old and I didnt want it to be too spicy for her. It was great! Ree, you go girl!! Another recipe of yours I have enjoyed!! Thanks for sharing!

OMG!!!! This is the BEST Meatloaf ever! I did make a little change and used 1 pound of ground pork and 1 pound of ground meat. also i chopped 1/2 cup of yellow onion and 1/2 cup of celery to the mix. The sauce is to good for words! next time i will make more for the side, just because its so so good. THANKS REE again for another great recipe.

This meatloaf was the best one we have ever tasted! The entire family absolutely loved it, including 3 kids. It was moist and the bacon added wonderful flavor. I used ground turkey so I cut back a little on the milk and used 1 less egg. The sauce was so delicious! This is my new meatloaf recipe!

This was AWESOME! I cannot handle spicy things right now so I omitted the hot sauce in the sauce. My boys LOVED it.

We read other reviews and liked these thoughts: 1. Double the sauce, it is fantastic. 2. Use a different cheese, we used feta and parmesan.

    This was superb!
We eat a lot of meatloaf's, and this was absolutely the best.
Only changes we did, was with the sauce. We used 1 cup of ketchup, 1/2 cup of brown sugar & 1/2 cup of dijon mustard. And used 2.5 lbs of ground moose/beef, and thick bacon.
We baked it for 45 min, then smothered the rest of the sauce on it. Then baked it for another 45 min., due to it being bigger then 2 lbs. Served it with baked taters & green beans with bacon.

Incredible flavor. My father in law soaks his break in milk to make stuffing so ii figured the same technique for meatloaf would be delicious and it was. Tasty tangy sauce made this recipe even more special. Made as directed except added a little chopped onion and had to adjust heating time slightly... broiling for the last 15 minutes to carmelize the sauce. Served with boiled then fried egg noodles and peas.
