I was always afraid to make scones thinking it would be to hard. I made these and was amazed how easy they were. My family and I absolutely love them and I have made them several times since. They are so good they are dangerous. I love her show and all her recipes that I have made have been great.

Buttery, almost like shortbread, but then that vanilla pop with the glaze, simply delicious, and better than my last ones from Starbucks!

This recipe was easy for a first timer! i made almost 50 scones and my kids and husband loved them! I followed the recipe except for only purchasing 2 vanilla beans due to the price. I used one in the batter and one in the glaze and it turned out great. I am looking forward to freezing these and saving my money at Starbucks!

This recipe was so easy, and turned out wonderful. I added a half pint of fresh blueberries to my scones, and it turned out bakery quality. I might have cheated a bit. Instead of whole milk, which we don't usually have in the house, I used half skim milk, and half cream. Since I didn't want to completely coat the scone in glaze, I only made half the amount and coated the top, which was just great for us. Thanks for sharing this with your viewers. This is a full 5 star recipe.

Mine are cooling now and they came out perfectly! I followed the recipe exactly and can't wait to gobble them up with some freshly brewed coffee! After sampling one right from the oven, they are very tender, soft, and moist, but stay together just fine. I will definitely save this recipe and they were very simple!

Loved them! I was searching the web for a scone recipe that wasn't too bland and included ingredients I had at home without running to the store. I remembered I had vanilla beans and so I was off to the kitchen to make these. Boy am I glad I did. I also read some of the reviews prior and the tip about freezing the butter and grating worked wonderfully. I will definately make these again super moist and tasty!

My first use of a "pastry cutter" and a whole new world has opened up. I also now know what a vanilla bean is! Watching Ree cook on her show makes me feel confident to try new things. The scones were a major hit- feeds a TON of people.

These scones are nothing short of amazing! Light and slightly crumbly with a nice vanilla flavor. Some scones can get really tough and hard, not these! One trick I used was to grate really cold butter right into the flour mixture. I only used a vanilla bean for the batter and extract for the glaze. I cut the glaze in half, put it in a zip-lock, cut the corner and drizzled it. Like others suggested I used a bit more cream for the batter so it wasn't too dry.
