These are far too sweet, I'm afraid. They are more like some kind of fudge, which I think is due to the inclusion of the sweetened condensed milk which is super-sweet. I guess they are a good treat to make for children rather than a dark and intense chocolate truffle which is what I like.

these are absolutely the easiest truffles to make. I sold them in 10mn. at the farmers mkt. I have made many of Ree's recipes and they are all good, thanks Ree.

    I was very disappointed.
The filling was fine but lacked in flavor.
The covering was cumbersome to work with. The truffles started to melt when put in the melted chocolate.
I give pause to try another Pioneer Woman recipe.

Simple and delicious. Don't get freaked out if the mixture seems too hard. Just roll along. Dusted mine with cocoa powder and coconut. yum!

To be honest I have not tried making them yet, I saw you put something into the chocolate for the coating, wondering what that was.

I made these and they were kind of a pain. I may have refrigerated them for too long, but the mixture got really hard and wasn't easy to work with. They were delicious though!

They are really good. I also tried without the mint and they tasted delicious.
