My husband and I made these cookies and they were way too salty and didn't have a good taste at all, wish I had read the reviews before I wasted a lot of expensive ingredients. Hope this will help someone else from making the same mistake!!

These cookies were foolproof. My daughter and I made two batches one with pecans and one without. Each batch turned out GREAT!

Love these cookies. I had to make some changes to my additions, as I had different ingredients on hand, but one will be glad to know the Rice Krispies cereal can be replaced with Special K : Thin, crispy and full of flavor, these cookies were a hit with my ten year old! Will definitely be making again!

This recipe was easy to make but by looking at the recipe I had to make some changes before I got started. I lower the temp to 300 degree baked for 15 minutes low and slow. These cookies turned out nice and crispy. If you don't like flat cookies increase the oats to 2 cups.

Thank you, Ree! This is now my staple chocolate chip cookie recipe. Wow! They are the perfect combination of oatmeal, m&m's and chocolate chips. Plus, the rice cereal adds a fabulous crunch! The other great thing about these cookies is that they are still wonderful on day 2 and 3. (With my old cookie recipe, they really needed to be eaten while warm on day 1.
I made regular sized cookies (about 2 T. dough so they only needed about 12 minutes in the oven. At 20 minutes, I overcooked the first batch, but they were still good! We ate every single one!

Loved these cookies! It really helps if you will just WATCH the VIDEO! The cookies are flat cookies, they are not supposed to rise up. You should also use an oven thermometer to check the accuracy of your oven. Use kosher salt not table salt, otherwise you need to LOWER the amount of salt. Terrific cookies!

What did I do wrong?? I mad these cookies according to the recipe and each batch burned on the bottom. I even lowered the temp to 350 and watch each batch carefully. I took them out sooner than necessary too. This was kind of an expensive experiment cause I had to buy ingredients I didn't have. Probably won't try these again. :(

Made these cookies for some little Monster High fans! I found this recipe turned out great, I did lower the oven temp from 375 to 350 halfway through the baking time. I also think the bake time of 10 mins listed at the top of this recipe is a typo. I didn't have a scoop so I used a 1/4 c measure, worked perfectly. I baked these for 22 mins to golden perfection, Thanks Ree. Love the show and your family style.

Awesome cookies! Did need to adj to 350 for 16mins. I used the 3oz PamperedChef cookie scoop. Love the fact that you can add whatever one wants. Will be my go to cookies. Thanks Pioneer Woman, love your show.

Great for kids. Reduced brown sugar to one cup. Salt to 1/2 teaspoon. Made flour 2 cups. They did not spread out. Baked perfectly to a light golden color and perfect shape. Very delicious!
