We loved this, and it's great to freeze half and use again another time. Great flavor! Surprisingly delicious!

This was such an quick and easy bread to throw together and everyone devoured it in no time flat. Had I made two loafs instead of one, it would have been gone as well. One friend of ours doesn't even like olives of any kind and she fell in love with this recipe and asked me for it, so I told her where she could find it. This is just so fabulous, I cannot say enough about it.

I just made this for Easter, and the adults really liked it. But next time I will cut the olives by half. They were a bit too much for my taste.

Absolutely delicious. Had two friends over and one isn't even an olive eater and she really liked it. Could make a meal on it's own with this recipe...like a Stouffer's French Bread Pizzas. I did make 2 changes. I didn't have any green onion and since I was making it a day ahead, I used 1 Tbsp. dried onion flakes (if I was using right away, I would have used a bit of chopped fresh onion. I also used Italian Bread as the French bread crust at my grocery store was so hard I couldn't imagine it any harder when baked and having to bite into it. I did have to cook my for 35 minutes and then do the broiler for a couple of minutes to brown more. Will definitely make again for sure!

I recently made this as an appetizer for a crawfish boil, the only difference was I added half of a 8oz. bar of cream cheese to the recipe. I used my food processor for everything (pulsed olives in last which made this recipe super fast. I live in the New Orleans area which gives me access to awesome french bread, with that said I bought 3 french breads, cut them in half and this single recipe covered 3 halves. With the other 3 halves I made a revision to the recipe because I have a son who does not like olives. Instead of the olives, I used a frozen box of spinich (defrosted and well drained, 2 jars of marinated artichokes (drained a small jar of mushrooms (drained and the other half of cream cheese to the original recipe (basically a spinach and artichoke dip. This was a HUGE HIT!!! Nearly every one there asked for my recipe, I told them I wish I could take the credit but it was a recipe I saw on Foodnetwork. I will definately make this again & again!!!
