I'VE BEEN TRYING DIFFERENT RECIPES FOR PIE DOUGH AND I MADE THIS ONE FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS MORNING. I'M VERY PLEASED WITH YOUR'S. I HAVE ALSO HAD GOOD LUCK WITH INA'S. WITH SOME OTHER'S THE DOUGH WAS TOO WET BUT I FOLLOWED THE RECIPE TO A "T" SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT I DID WRONG. GLAD TO FIND THIS ONE. THANKS

Loved the crust, the filling is a lot like mine Ree's had more butter & added brown sugar, it didn't set as well as mine but the flavor was great, I think next time I will remove 2T white sugar for the extra Brown sugar making 1 cup total & only 2 T of melted butter...

The pie was delicious but it did not set. I had to cook even longer than the extended time and it was still runny even after cooling. Will not make this one again. I love your recipes Dee, but this one was just not for me.

After watching your show this morning I said I will try baking a pecan pie one more time as they never set up. I am thrilled to say it turned out perfect and was so easy. Thank you!

first time to make a pecan pie--usually my sister-in-law makes them during the holidays but I listened to you and decided to make it for tonight. Already had the crust recipe and didn't realize how easy this pie is to make. Had to cook mine longer like your directions said so I was prepared and didn't worry about it. Came out perfect with a cup of coffee!!

Well, the pie is SWEET for sure! But mine did not set, still runny after cool. Maybe a little flour in the filling might be called for. Looked beautiful, tastied yummy.

I love the filling and Chevyman thinks it is the best I have made ever! The pie crust is so tender, thanks for the recipie. I never used the egg and vineagar before, it is great. Have you ever roasted the pecans first lightly then add them to the unbaked pie shell, yum...
