Made this tonight with grilled chicken. Didn't have any red pepper flakes so I used cayenne pepper instead and it was wonderful. Will definitely make again.

Excellent, I followed her recipe to a "T"; however, I added spicy Italian turkey sausage (that I'd precooked at the end with the last pat of butter. Really, really good. BTW: Ree, as a Texan, you and your family are good OK folks. I've always had a soft spot for cowboys...although, the chaps in this morning's episode were over the top good ;

My husband and I saw Ree making this receipe this morning on the FoodNetwork channel and decided to try it this evening. It was very simple to make. We did add some chicken pieces to the onion and garlic and it was excellent. This receipe is a KEEPER. Thanks Ree.

This Vodka Sauce is fantastic!!!! I followed the recipe exactly and took the advice of a reviewer to simmer the vodka for 10 mins., such great flavor. I could taste the vodka and the red pepper flakes added a bit of a kick, it was great. Fairly simple to put together, chopping the garlic and onion is the only real time it took. I will definitely make it again!

Love it!!! First time doing penne alla vodka and this recipe was amazing!!! I added shredded mozzarella when I served and I made grilled chicken breast and my family simply loved this meal!!
