Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with this recipe. Having a large family, I thought this would be the answer to my prayers for family get togethers. However, the recipe, followed EXACTLY, was both bland and undercooked. It took MUCH longer to cook the potatoes. My oven is pretty much on target with other recipes so I'm not sure where this timing came from. Many more excellent potato recipes out there!

These potatoes were terrific! I increased the baking time a little, and suppose you could dice them smaller, but they were delicious!

My Family loves this recipe. We have had it a few times now. The first time I didn't read it properly and didn't cook it long enough, so the potatoes were not fully cooked. As for the taste itself on the ones that were fully cooked were AWESOME...

Wonderful! My whole family loved this dish! Based on other reviews, I made a few changes. I increased the oven to 425. I sprinkled the potatoes with 1/2 tsp each of granulated garlic, onion powder, and parsley flakes. I believe it is important that you use SHARP cheddar it will be bland. And I used 1 1/2 tsp of pepper. Mine didn't come out runny at all. I used heavy cream as the recipe stated. I'm wondering if those who said it was runny might have reduced the amount of heavy cream and increased the milk. Or maybe substituted 1/2 and 1/2 for the heavy cream.
