Made half as much bacon and crumbled it over the top and substituted home made poppyseed dressing for the disgusting bacon fat. This has got to be one of the unhealthiest salad recipes I've ever seen.

This was so delicious I ate the entire salad myself over the course of two days! I was a little skeptical about the dressing at first taste, but when poured over the salad...Delish! I think I will probably cut the sugar amount in half next time, but what an easy, tasty salad!

Hi Ree I love love your show! I used to work in a restaurant in sacramento CA and I always wanted to duplicate their spinach salad, but could nver find a recipe that came close. Well yours did and is even better! The dressing is superb and cooking the onions and mushrooms is what puts it over the top! My family loved it! thank you very much:

Ree's Perfect Spinach Salad was just that! Everything you expect in a great spinach salad with the wonderful flavors of the bacon, egg, sauteed mushroom and onion. I didn't toss my salad, instead choosing to place the ingredients over the spinach and drizzle the dressing. Next time I will do as the recipe calls and toss it to see the difference. Probably will have even more great flavor!

this was an amazing and filling salad that looked good too! my husband who is very hard to please said it was excellent for presentation and taste! the only thing I did different was that I also added goat cheese on top.
