Although the flavor was excellent (how can you go wrong with chocolate and coffee?, this was chocolate soup. Although I followed the recipe exactly and had watched the episode where Ree made these the day before, it never thickened into custard. I used room temperature fresh eggs and coffee made in my espresso machine just before I poured it into the blender. I left the custards in the refrigerator for 8 hours. They simply never set. A total disappointment.

Wahoooooo!!!! Great dessert for a dinner party. Added Bailey's Irish Creme as previous reviewer suggested, about 1 - 2 oz. Everyone at the table joked at wanting to lick their dish clean!

Since I am Cuban I think it takes a bit of sugar added to the recipe. Of course I also added creme cheese which saved it because it was not as dark but it also made it super thick and creamy. It took alot of licking just to get the spoon clean the thing stuck to it like glue but like a great candy it was alot of fun to eat!

I have been trying dessert recipes for Christmas Eve. Made ree's cherry almond crisps last nite. Very good. Today made this recipe and added baileys Irish cr. tiny airplane bottle size. Very yummy. I only had 3 eggs but large. Came out great!

I've made this recipe twice as written and it did not set up either time. The very top sets up but the rest is liquid.

So easy & so yummy! Mine set perfectly and was a very nice texture - not sure what happened with the folks who had problems but I followed the recipe as written (used vanilla, not liqueur and it looked just like Ree's on the show. Did not miss the cream at all in the chocolate mixture, it tasted very creamy without it, and I did top with a bit of whipped cream. I used mini choc chips too, so I would be sure they would be fully incorporated. I'll definitely make this again.

Great! My mother-in-law said she would not eat as she does not drink coffee. Wrong-she ate it and loved it too. While making I took the leftover pudding in the blender, added warm milk, blended. Pour in some of that left-over hot strong coffee and topped with some whipped cream and you have a Cafe Mocha! Yum!

The best five-minute chocolate dessert to ever come out of my pantry. Can't wait to make it again with orange or coffee liqueur. Made 1/2 recipe and it was perfect for four small servings.

Great recipe! BTW- "TheRealpoppy"- There are more gracious ways to critically review a recipe and person that created it. Offering constructive criticism would be more appropriate.
