This salsa is amazing. Unless you have a 12 cup food processor like the recipe recommends, you will need to make this salsa in batches. I had to learn the hard way- it made quite a mess!!! Enjoy!!!

What a crowd pleaser! Very easy to make in the blender. It comes out perfect every time. We love our chips and salsa as a family and our mexican night dinners. The jar salsas were ok, but this recipe is so easy and authentic and comes together so fast. It's perfect! I've learned to keep everything on hand because I'm making it at least twice a month. (it makes a very big batch. I get so many compliments when I serve it for parties. People are always asking for the recipe. I've learned to make two batches and jar some so people can take it home! If you enjoy authentic Mexican salsa, this is the recipe for you! You won't be disappointed.

My family loves this salsa! We like thicker salsa so I drained some of the juice off. We will never by jar salsa again.

Awesome!!! We did not add the jalapeno, but I am going to make it again this week & add 1/2 of the jalapeno.
Such a fresh tasting salsa, very addicting & yummy.

I love this salsa! It's so good and so easy to make! I've taken it to many parties and it's a hit every time. The original recipe is a little spicy for my liking so I used one regular can of Rotel and one mild can of Rotel and I did not add the jalapeno. Everything else stayed the same. So, so, so good!

YUM! Reminds me of a salsa my mom used to make in her blender in the 70's using a quart of her home canned tomatoes and green chilis. My aunt recently asked me for the recipe and sadly I was just a kid back then, and since it was never written down, I don't know the exact ingredients, although I watched her make it enough I knew the basics. This one is really close, with the addition of rotel, which probably wasn't available in rural areas back then. Thanks for bringing this back!

I made this yesterday, and it came out great! This is such a simple recipe, and I can't wait to try the other recipes in your cookbooks that I received for Christmas. The pictures in the books are awesome! Thank you Ree!

Ree, you are such a genius! I love this recipe! There is a mexican restaurant in Fort Worth that has the best salsa, I thought, until I made this recipe. It's so easy and soooo good! I'm giving jars of this as presents for the guys in the family. Have a wonderful Christmas and hold your babies close to you...they don't stay young very long.
