Let there be no misunderstanding; this is labor intensive. At least the brining part is, but it is worth every ounce of effort! The finished product was beautiful to look at and even more delicious to the taste. The real test? Leftovers. Passed with flying colors, right down to the last piece of breast meat. And the gravy? Lordy, what great tasting gravy! After years of failed roasted turkeys, I have found nirvana! Thank you, Pioneer Woman!

Best turkey I ever made using your marinade and baking instructions. My daughter, who doesn't like turkey, even ate a piece and liked it. Thank you so much for sharing!

I made this for Thanksgiving and OMG! is what I heard from my guests. You have to make this every year! The turkey was so moist and the flavour unbelievable. It does take a lot of work but it was well worth it!

Best turkey I have ever made. I used to think turkey was pretty much turkey, but people at my Thanksgiving table actually commented on how moist and flavorful it was. I will always use this method in the future.

OMG.....when I watched the show about brining it looked so easy that I knew I had to try it and boy was I the talk of the town...some said they had never had white and dark meat of a turkey be so moist and juicy. Thanks again for making it so easy to prepare and cook a turkey!

This was the best turkey that has come out of my kitchen. I couldn't believe how moist and tender the turkey was. Thanks Ree for a great Thanksgiving!

This was the best turkey we have ever made. I was not sold on brining until now. The rosemary and orange made this a very special thanksgiving. Paired with Ree's sausage, mushroom and apple stuffing and her lucious mashed potatoes, made this a wonderful meal. We used a 13 lb. turkey and it was so juicy and flavorful. My family had seconds and thirds.
