I loved this recipe. I traditionally make Salisbury steak with mushrooms and cream gravy, but this was such a nice change! I can't use bouillon because I'm allergic to MSG, so I used a teaspoon of Better Than Bouillon Beef Base in it's place. My husband turned his nose up at the idea of this dish, because of his experiences at his Jr. High school cafeteria. Once he tried it, he said he'd rate it a 5 star as well. Thanks Ree, another winner!!!

This is the BEST Salisbury Steak that I and my Family have ever had! Easy to follow her recipe and doesnt take a lot of time. I cook for a large Family and lot's of big eaters, this totally satisfied everybody! I do use the "Kitchen Bouqet" for the seasoning sauce, gives it the true depth in the flavor. When my Family wanted something other then the traditional Turkey-Dinner for Xmas, they all wanted this for our Holiday meal!! Make it, it will NOT disapoint........

This was fabulous! I didn't have any ground beef, so I used ground turkey and chicken broth instead plus added some mushrooms to the saucve. Fabulous!! The whole family loved it!

Fantastic recipe! Very flavorful! I sauteed fresh mushrooms with the onions, but they weren't even necessary. I will definitely be making this again...in fact, I will be using the gravy recipe with my Christmas roast :-

Made this after searching for a recipe to use the ingredients with which I started to make meatloaf - until I discovered we were out of eggs! My family, including husband & adult son, loved it.
Someone mentioned their patties wouldn't stick together, but no problem at all for me.
I added chopped mushrooms to the sauce, about 1/4 cup and that worked out well. I didn't have kitchen bouquet on hand, but the gravy was a lovely deep brown and I added about 1 tsp Montreal Steak Seasoning for extra flavor.
The family voted this a "keeper."

We loved this recipe. My husband has a hard time with tomato based sauces so this was a nice change.

The Salisbury steak wasn't that good too me, the taste of the beef, didn't too much care for but it was ok....the gravy was wonderful, I can make that again.

This was the best Salisbury Steak I have ever tasted. My partner and kids can't wait for me to make again. I love all of Ree's recipes that I have tried so far. I think when I make these again I will add an egg or two to help bind meat together. It was a little tough keeping patties from falling apart while cooking. Other than that, this is to die for!
