This was fabulous! I didn't have any ground beef, so I used ground turkey and chicken broth instead plus added some mushrooms to the saucve. Fabulous!! The whole family loved it!

Fantastic recipe! Very flavorful! I sauteed fresh mushrooms with the onions, but they weren't even necessary. I will definitely be making this again...in fact, I will be using the gravy recipe with my Christmas roast :-

Made this after searching for a recipe to use the ingredients with which I started to make meatloaf - until I discovered we were out of eggs! My family, including husband & adult son, loved it.
Someone mentioned their patties wouldn't stick together, but no problem at all for me.
I added chopped mushrooms to the sauce, about 1/4 cup and that worked out well. I didn't have kitchen bouquet on hand, but the gravy was a lovely deep brown and I added about 1 tsp Montreal Steak Seasoning for extra flavor.
The family voted this a "keeper."

We loved this recipe. My husband has a hard time with tomato based sauces so this was a nice change.

The Salisbury steak wasn't that good too me, the taste of the beef, didn't too much care for but it was ok....the gravy was wonderful, I can make that again.

This was the best Salisbury Steak I have ever tasted. My partner and kids can't wait for me to make again. I love all of Ree's recipes that I have tried so far. I think when I make these again I will add an egg or two to help bind meat together. It was a little tough keeping patties from falling apart while cooking. Other than that, this is to die for!

This was really good and easy to make. it was very flavorful. my husband does not like mushrooms, I love mushrooms, so i thought i would try this and i didn't miss the mushrooms at all. the onion gravy is good. I think I would use flour instead of cornstarch, just my preference. I would recommend you try this recipe.

This has become my husband's new favorite meal. It was really easy and really good. He can't wait until I fix this again and wants to know when that will be. Thanks so much. These recipes are made from what you usually have at home and you don't have to buy a lot of things you won't use again. Keep em coming.

We loved this recipe!! As others have said, you must use more cornstarch. I think I used a TBSP. Also, whenever a recipe calls for "broth" of any flavor, (chicken, beef, etc. I always use "stock". It has a LOT more flavor! Thanks Ree, it was delicious!
