We loved this recipe!! As others have said, you must use more cornstarch. I think I used a TBSP. Also, whenever a recipe calls for "broth" of any flavor, (chicken, beef, etc. I always use "stock". It has a LOT more flavor! Thanks Ree, it was delicious!

This has become one of my favorite go-to meals. My husband who is an extremely picky eater liked this too. I used more cornstarch than Ree indicated to thicken up the gravy. I also simmered the patties in the gravy for 10-15 minutes to ensure that it's cooked through. Meat comes out tender and the gravy is delicious. Will try the suggestion of adding mushrooms next time. Thanks for this great recipe.

This was an amazing dish. Salisbury Steak is something I've never made although my husband has asked for it many times. I always beleived it was nothing more than glorified hamburger....When I saw Ree make this I decided to give it a whirl. My husband absolutly loved it and surprisingly so did I. I added mushrooms to the onions because everything tastes better with mushrooms. I will make this recipe again soon!

This was delicious. My husband raved about it! I halved the meat mixture since it was just him and I eating (made 3 patties but made the entire amount of gravy. A wonderful, hearty main dish. I made the peas and carrots just as she did in the episode to go along side and those were wonderful as well.

We made this for supper last night and it was a great hit!! This is definitely going into our "Family Favorites" file. We didn't have any problem with our 'steaks' falling apart even though we made them the night before cooking.

We liked it. But my husband didn't rave (didn't complain though so i'm not sure. My daughter said it's a repeat sometime but not soon. I think maybe I added too much Worcestershire and maybe it didn't have a sweet/savory factor. The consistency of everything turned out good though as promised and I would add mushrooms next time too! Maybe some tweeking w/ flavors for our family but I tried it because I saw it on her show and I'm glad i did. :-

Excellent! Saw this on her show a while back & wanted to try it. As others said, I would add an egg next time to the meat mixture as they did not fall apart but had to treat them carefully to keep it from happening. Taste great & the family said it's a keeper! Yum!

My wife and I made this tonight for dinner. It turned out great. The one thing is maybe a little too much Worcestershire. Next time we're going to leave it out of the gravy and substitute mushrooms for the onions.

Maybe some eggs or extra breadcrumbs? Idk but a few pieces fell apart.
The taste was OK. Won't be making again but it was eatable for tonight's dinner. I didn't hate it. I just didn't love it.

I followed the receipe, minus seasoning sauce, and it was very tasty and the family liked it as well. I would have used mushrooms too, but family no like! AND I didn't have extra lean beef at the time and used old regular ground hamburger and it still tasty. Thank you for this one too!
