First of all, I'm a big fan of Ree and her recipes. That said, this one just didn't hit it out of the park. I used 80% beef (based on the other reviewers comments about 93 being too dry and it still ended up being dry & tough - with 6 thick patties, it just took a while to get the meat to cook through. And the sauce was just okay - no real punch of flavor. I also required more corn starch than called for.

I made this Friday night and I didn't not care for it. I used the 93% lean ground beef and it was too dry. I also didn't not care for the gravy. I teaspoon isn't enough and it didn't thicken. I toss the recipe.

Delish! Wasn't sure my husband would like it since he's not a meatloaf-type fan, but he helped put the gravy together and was the first one done with his plate. We made the peas and carrots and some mashed potatoes, what a great comfort dinner. Great recipes, will use again.

I followed receipe as stated using 93%lean hamburger. It came out just perfect! So tasty and flavorful. I cooked some potatoes on the side which were great with the onion gravy/sauce over it. This is a keeper!

This is definitely a keeper my husband gave it 5 Thumbs up. How ever I added a little onion to the meat and deglazed the pan with red wine for the gravy it was fantastic.

These are absolutely fantastic. We had them with mock mashed potatoes (creamed cauliflower and Ree's peas and carrots. My 32 yr old son ate enough for 3 people. This is a keeper, if you are looking for comfort food. Thanx Ree!

I watch your show every Saturday morning and that is what we make for dinner that weekend. It was very good. It's almost like a old recipe I make called Haystacks. My boys liked it a lot. Thanks for another good dish.
