YUMMY, YUMMY. I added chopped red onions and chopped red peppers to cook with the meat mixture. It turned out great, full of flavor and just the right balance of seasonings. The masa flour was easy to find in the ethnic food aisle. I served the chili over rice and it was superb. I did add about one cup of water as the chili mixture simmered. Very easy to make. My husband never cared for chili but he loved this, so much flavor. I will make this again for sure.

This is one of the best pots of chili that I have ever made. I did make a modification based on what was on hand. I added a can of Hunt's garlic fire roasted tomatoes when adding the beans. I pressure cooked some pinto beans and added them with some of the broth along with a can of kidney beans rinsed. It was fabulous. Thank you for sharing your recipes through Food Network

This really is perfect. The taste is really good and the consistency is just right. The masa is also good in it. I have never used masa before. I can see that I will be craving more of this chili.

I thought it was good and very simple to make, the masa gave the chili a very unique flavor. I was glad I tried it. Thanks Ree.

This is a really good chili recipe & the masa makes it extra good. I had never added masa to my chili before, but will from now on because it adds such flavor & texture. Great recipes & I love the show.

This chili lives up to it's name! It is the answer to my long-time search for a thick, hearty chili, plus, I can finish off the masa mix left over from Christmas tamales. Ree's recipes use ingredients we all have without having to try to find a lot of specialty items. Love, love, love it!

Wow very good! I was a little concerned at first with how dry it was during the simmering process. (the meat and seasoning so I added some extra Tomato sauce like Eve23. I also diced some onions to cook with the meat, I can't get enough onions, so I figured it couldn't hurt. Overall I'm very glad I have an updated Chili Recipe!

This chili is FANTASTIC! I have made it several times and the taste balance is perfect! Just the right amount of seasoning for great flavor. I add a little more tomato sauce because I like my chili with a little more liquid, but this is a must-try!!
