Not sure why this one has 5 stars... My family would eat Chili e/week if I were to make it ; But as for this reciepe & e/ones concession it was good; not grrreat!!!
Nothing Amaaazing; Nothing to write home about; Nothing they really look forward to for lunch next day...
Sorry, I won't be making this again... Wish I could give a 2.5 star...

I am not telling my mom, but her recipe, that never turns out for me, is going in the back of the recipe box! This was AWESOME! I added a little more tomatoes than the recipe called for because that is how we like it, but this is my go to recipe from now on! The masa made all the difference. This was so easy and wonderful! Thanks Ree!

This chili was GREAT!!! I was not able to find the masa harina, but I just used corn meal instead. Also, I added some vegetables for extra texture. My three year old LOVED it. And she does not eat anything! Thanks so much for this recipes, it is awesome, and will now be my chili recipe that I always use.

This recipe is true to it's name - it's simple but absolutely delicious. I added a few veggies to mine and the flavors were incredible. Great recipe!

We all like a beanless chili, so I did not add the beans. (less sodium that way, too I subbed 2# diced round steak for the ground, but all of Ree's flavors were there....everything else was exactly the same as her recipe. GOOD STUFF!

I learned how to cook chili from my mom. Ground round and a french's chili mix. This made great chili for years until I had to start watching my sodium. I thought no more chili because the sodium was through the roof. A friend of mine said try the Pioneer Woman's chili? I first thought she was talking about a action figure. After an very quick internet search I found Ree Drumund's homemade chili recipe. I did not think I could ever make "homemade" chili. I followed the recipe and low and behold I made chili. I am from Texas so I left out the beans but this is an excellent and very easy chili mix. I will probably have maza for years to come, but this is a great reciepe. I was so proud of myself that I made it for a group of friends, and recieved great reviews. Thanks Pioneer Woman.

I have already made this chile 3 or 4 times! The only thing I change is I add to boxes of beef broth, because otherwise I have nothing to simmer! But oh boy is it scumptious! It also freezes VERY well! This is my new go to recipe for home made chili! We absolutely love it! Thanks Ree!
