Best and easiest way ever to make pulled pork!! It's very spicey so i did cut back on the Chipoltle Peppers to one 7 oz can. My family raves about this and begs me to make it. I will never let on how simple it is to make.

I have made this twice now and I LOVE spicy... but I used only a 7 oz can of the peppers and it was too hot for ME.. Overall the flavor was great (I used root beer once, dr. Pepper the other time. So warning to those who don't like over the top spice, use a lot less than the called for amount of peppers.

This was outrageously delicious! I took the advice of some other reviewers, and I removed more than half the seeds in the peppers. It was still too hot for my family, even though we all like spicy food. So, next time, I will remove ALL the seeds. Also, I think I will add one more can of Dr. Pepper, as the sauce cooked down a good bit(even though the pot was covered, leaving little for leftovers. That should cut the heat, as well.
I chose a pork shoulder that weighed 4.5 lbs. It was on the leaner side, so the sauce was not greasy at all. Cooking time was less than five hours. I served it with a black bean salad (Rachael Ray and my own cole slaw. The coolness of the salads was perfect with the heat of the pork. This definitely is a keeper. Easy and Delicious. What more can one want?

This was my first time making pulled pork and this recipe is very easy. I made it in my crock pot - 9 hours on low for a 4 lb pork shoulder {probably longer than necessary but the extra time doesn't hurt}. I used about 2 cups of diet Dr. Pepper. After reading many reviews, and since I don't care for very spicy food, I only used about half a 7 oz. can of chiles {about 7 chiles} and sauce, and removed the whole chiles after cooking. To me, it had enough flavor and spice without being overpowering. {My husband, who has a higher spice tolerance than I, agreed.} I served it in pulled pork sandwiches with PW's cilantro slaw for dinner tonight. I'll freeze some, and we'll feast on the rest this weekend while watching basketball. I've got corn tortillas, avocados and sour cream to make tacos tomorrow. Yum!

Nice bite, but not too much. I just mixed everything in a pot and placed the pork in, making sure the pork had a coating of the juice. Worked really well as a sandwich with coleslaw and dill pickles.

Wonderful recipe. Easy and very tasty. I did put the pork in the refrigerator over night so the fat would rise to the top and it was easier to skim off. Definitely a keeper.

So easy and so delish! Used diet coke (our soda of choice and 1/2 can of chipotles with adobo sauce. My hubby had it over leftover mashed potatoes. With cilantro, onions, cheese, and guacamole it's great for tacos, burritos, and quesadillas! Can't wait to make it again!

GREAT RECIPE!! Made it twice this week! Will make your house smell amazing. I did mine in the crock pot and only used 7oz. can of peppers cause my husband can't take much heat.
