Couldn't wait to try out this new recipe since we love pulled pork. I was hesitant about putting in all the chipotle peppers so I cut back a tiny bit. The meat was fall apart tender and juicy and delicious, however next time I will definately cut back on the peppers.I've since realized that Rhee used a whole pork butt and most of us do not...that's why the intense heat. With that being said this is the best pulled pork I've made, and I have tried a lot of recipes out there! Everyone love, love, loved it too!!!

I would make this again, but with some tweaks. I wish the recipe had been more specific about the amount of meat--what I found at the store seemed too small, so I asked the butcher, and he gave me a much larger piece, based upon how many servings it made. But without the butcher, it would have been total guesswork.

It filled the house with a wonderful aroma, so I expected it to be very flavorful. I actually found it a little bland, other than the spiciness, which was too much for me. Maybe the heat just overwhelmed the other flavors. But the meat itself was very moist and the dish was very easy to prepare. I'll just try adding a little something else (more brown sugar? next time to make the sauce more flavorful and cut back on the peppers--with those changes, I think it will be great. And, having said all that, my friends who ate it all said they really enjoyed it--so maybe I'm a spice wimp:

I love Ree the show and when I saw this recipe I knew I had to give it a try. I used a pork loin and cooked it in the crockpot. It turned out awesome! It is VERY spicy but I loved it! We will absolutely make this one again.

I watched the show and immediatly knew I had to make this dish. We loved it. I came to work the next day and told everyone how good it was. We love spicy foods, and didn't think it was too spicy....just right! Can't wait to make it again.

I like many others, watched the episode where Ree made the Spicy Pop Pulled Pork and had to make it right away. I was worried that it may turn out too hot/spicy for my families taste, but once finished it was delicious. Loved the smoky sweet flavor. Served with Ree's coleslaw recipe which was a perfect compliment to the pork. Will definitely make again!

I made this dish in my Le Crueset dutch oven. The meat was tender and flavorful. The liquid was way too spicy. The flavor of the liquid was wonderful...for about two seconds! That is when the heat of the peppers sneaks up on you. I agree with other reviews, that you should only use one or two of the peppers.

This recipe was awesome, easy and delicious. However, it is VERY spicy! I will cut back to half a can of chipotles next time. However, my husband and I both loved it and I can't wait to make it again!

Ree, Thank you!! this was a HUGE success yesterday for dinner. I love "hot" spice, husband not so much. But he loved it, took it for lunch today. Potatoes au gratin were great with it too. His family has a big family reunion every year over Labor day, this will be on the menu this year!!

The very day your show aired, I happened to have a boneless butt in the fridge. Had everything on hand, but had a smaller roast so I cut everything in half. WONDERFUL!!!!!! The men I work with now have the recipe too! Keep em comin!!!

Ree, I am from your home town. I was raised there. Fixed your Spicy Pop Pulled pork last night. YUM!!! My husband loved it and so did I. Didn't get to eat it last night, but we will be sharing dinner with our neighbors tonight. I know they will love it. Keep the delicious recipes coming!
