This was amazing after I tweeked it. I was afraid this would be too spicy so I only used 9-10 oz of the can of chilies. I cooked it in a slow cooker on the suggested settings for meat. I cooked for 7 hrs. I tasted the juice once it was done and it was SPICY. I removed the meat and let it rest on a cutting board while I strained the juices in the pot. There were a ton of seeds in the liquid. After I removed all the solids the juice was perfect! It was sweet with just a touch of heat. For those of you who like it hot you can skip the straining or add the onions and chilies to the shredded meat. It was DIVINE!

I did this recipe for the football playoffs and everybody loved it!!! I did it in the crockpot and it it turned out very tender and i only used the 7 oz can of chipotle and adobe, but i think i will use the 11 oz next time cause it gave the meat a great spicy bite. Bought some nice rolls and made great pork sandwiches. This is my new pulled pork recipe. By the way you can fing the chipotle peppers in adobe sauce in the can at Foodmaxx. : I love your show Ree! thanks

For years I have cooked my pulled pork in the crock pot with great success, but after trying this recipe, never again. This was the most tender pork ever. I did use 1 full chipotle pepper with the sauce. I served with homemade biscuits and slaw. Very, very tastie! My only complaint would be that I like to use leftover pulled pork for many other meals including tacos. Because of the soda, this comes out like a sweet BBQ pork that is a little different for tacos. You must try this recipe!

I cooked it and couldn't find the chipotle peppers so I used Rotell tomatoes with mild peppers, my family was raving about it and my daughter ate it again the next day. I served it with flour totillas, sour cream, lettuse and salsa..It was amazing thanks Ree

Super easy! I put everything in the slow cooker and let it cook for 8 hours on high. Worked great! A little spicy for me, but my husband loved it. We took the meat out of the sauce once it was done and pulled it apart then. That way he could put more sauce on if he wanted since he can take more heat than I can. Great football day meal!

Absolutely delicious and so easy! After the pork was done, I drained off part of the fat and the put the balance of the liquid and onions and chipotles in a blender and it makes a wonderful sauce. But be careful...the sauce is very hot; has an initial sweet taste but then the heat comes through.

Saw this recipe over the New Year's holiday weekend and couldn't wait to try it. Made it last night and was very, very disappointed - I didn't like the taste much. The spiciness was fine - not too hot for me - but it was missing something in taste. And I agree with a couple other reviews stating the juice was like really watered down BBQ sauce and very greasy. I drained all the leftover meat and will try to salvage it by adding my homemade BBQ sauce. I will stick to me tried and true recipe for pulled pork in the future. I'm glad I didn't make it for company proving again that you should never ever use your unsuspecting dinner guests as guinea pigs.
