I made this with my five-year old and not only was it easy enough to make with her, but the whole family LOVED it! We will for sure make this again! Thank you!

Made the strawberry oatmeal bars. So good and delicious. Good for breakfast or snack. Today made the bars with blackberry preserves. Good.

Great recipe that I will use again and again! So easy to do with ingredients that are already in the pantry. I tried this recipe once with strawberry jam and then again with chocolate chips. I wouldn't attempt the chocolate chip version again without some tweaking, but the jam version rocks! A great substitute for cereal bars in the morning. Lots cheaper, too! Two hints:cut these while they are warm (kind of hard after they have cooled and I used ROLLED oats. She doesn't specify in the recipe. So good! Thanks, Ree!

These are amazing! Stop whatever you're doing and make up a batch right now! I have used strawberry, raspberry, and cherry jams - all homemade. Strawberry is my favorite and then cherry. It is important to butter your pan very well.

I made these last Sunday after watching the DVR'd episode and they were so yummy! And you know how everyone says they can't wait to eat them until they cool...well DON'T wait!! We couldn't either and we called it Strawberry oatmeal cobbler!! About half the pan was eaten warm with ice cream and the other half cooled and cut into bars! It's two desserts in one!!! I used my own homemade strawberry jam and I can't wait to try other flavors!!!

Wow! I needed something quick and easy to make for my husband for Valentines Day. I am 4 days post op from gallbladder surgery and have a newborn 7 week old sweet baby boy, so as you can imagine quick, easy, time effective and wholesome are a must. Thank you Ree for a wonderful recipe worth passing around and handing out. You made this wife and new mother a very happy woman.

I made half the pan with homemade applesauce and the other half with homemade strawberry jam. They were kind of gooey. I may need to cook them longer than the 30 min, but they are really good. I think it saves me money on "fruit bars" that my children devour. I will make weekly.
