I made these with chopped up home canned peaches and also made them with just frozen cherries. Both versions were wonderful and so easy!

These are fantastic! I used Fig Preserves and what a great bar they made. I made them exactly as they said except for the preserves. Yummy!!

This treat is wonderful! Very easy to make. I took it to church this morning and brought home an empty plate. My only comment would be about the strawberry preserves, as the recipe calls for. Ree used strawberry jam in the video. I intentionally purchased strawberry preserves, but they were so thick that I had trouble spreading them enough to cover the bottom crust. I ended up using the entire 18 oz. jar. They were delicious, but it might have been easier to use just the 10-12 oz. called for in the receipe if I had used strawberry jam rather than preserves. But they were still delicious; this recipe is definitely a KEEPER!

Made these last weekend and they were gone by Sunday afternoon.
Cut the brown sugar to a half cup instead of a cup and still real sweet.
Used a whole jar of Smucker's strawberry jam. Also, tried blueberry jam
and they were to die for. Thank you, Ree Enjoy your show!

These are quick and easy and so good. As stated below, they freeze well and are a wonderful lunchbox treat for my kids. I like some of the ideas below on the healthier versions as well.

This was soooo easy to make, and tasted wonderful. I used raspberry jam instead of the strawberry. I think next time I will heat the jam up a little first because it was hard to spread right out of the jar. I put half of them in the freezer and they thawed out well and tasted just as good as when they were first made. I'm making these for our July 4th BBQ. Thanks Ree! Keep the great recipes coming.

We make our own jam the same day we will be eating it so we made mango today. Wow they are superb. My 9 year old followed the recipe and made them all by himself. (He even put them in the oven. Thanks for the wonderful recipes. Love watching you each week.
