Phenominalllllllll! I just took it out the oven 10 minutes ago and its half gone! I made this with my 2 year old, Kaiden and he said "mommy yummy, I yike it" I added extra fiber for even more nutrition. My 10 year old loved it too. Bye bye nutrigrain bars these will replace anything like that in their lunch boxes. It smells as good as it tastes!

These bars were fabulous!! I have made them twice now and am going to make them a third time tonight. I used Strawberry jam the first time then I tried boysenberry, both were fabulous. Tonight I will try ollieberry. These are my husband's new favorite treat. He likes them cold out of the fridge. I love them hot out of the oven. He loves the strawberry. I love the boysenberry. I think I might try to do half and half next time. LOVE THEM.

I am almost to ashamed to admit this but...I mixed everything according to recipe only I mixed the Apricot jam in with the mixture. All of it. I was watching HGTV and baking at the same time, halfway paying attention. So what I did was I have some dried apricots, chopped abunch up, divided batter & put dried apricots in the middle. Baked as required, let cool completely. OMGosh!!!! Came out more of a cake texture but very moist. The chopped dried fruit was wonderful. Not bad for a messup!

We use apricot preserves and fresh strawberry jam in the summer. This will be paced down to friends and family.

I love this recipe. You can sub in canned pie fillings for the jam. You just have to run the fruit thru the food processor to get it into smaller pieces. I have made it with peaches and cherries. This is a recipe that will be used in my house quite often.

This recipe is a winner! They work with whatever flavor of jam you have in hand and are a cinch to prepare. I used some fresh strawberry jam, and they tasted unbelieveable. I recommend going to Ree's blog and seeing step-by-step pictorial instructions. She always keeps you right on track with those.

I now can't remember how many times I have made these bars. I've used multiple types of jam; strawberry, four fruit, apricot, raspberry. They are all great. The recipe is very quick, very simple and I love not having to get out a mixer.
