YUM! I found the meringue powder in the cake baking section but also in smaller envelopes near the spices (meringue mix. I made once in the blender and was really good. I then make a smaller quantity for myself only and divided into fourths. I put in a well sealed container and shook vigorously for 30-45 seconds and poured over ice and tasted the same. This is easier than getting out the blender for one!

The kids loved it, and I thought it was very tasty too. A nice treat! For those having trouble locating the meringue powder, I found it at Michael's in the cookie/cake decorating section. I won't have trouble using this ingredient up as this recipe is a definite keeper!

It's an O Julius!!! My mom used to make these with fresh egg whites, but the meringue powder is a brilliant substitute (unless you can find pasteurized eggs. This isn't really an everyday thing, more of a weekend treat given all the sugar, and honestly it tastes more like dessert than breakfast. It also makes a fun retro party drink!

Reminds me of an orange julius of days gone by! Very tasty. To the person who says they couldn't find it...meringue powder is in the baking section of your grocery store. If they don't have the meringue, then there is powdered egg whites. This helps to froth it up.

We love this. It has become almost a weekend special at our house. The meringue powder is a must for the total experience. It is fruity and refreshing. My family is always asking when I'm going to make fried egg and sausage (home made sandwiches with the jalapeno's and that milk punch stuff. Nother winner for the Pioneer Queen.

Meringue powder? I couldn't find it at my local supermarket, but probably wouldn't have bought it even if it was there. I hate buying ingredients I only use once. I made this punch without it, and my family thought it was just "ok". But then again, in this house we all prefer fresh fruit smoothies in the morning, and comparatively this tasted a bit "artificial".
