This was an amazing mixture of flavors. I quit drinking alcohol about three years ago so was a little nervous that it would have a strong Tequila taste and turn me off but the blend was perfect. Excellent balance. I was running short on time so I pre-sliced my chicken before marinating and they got a great balance of flavor after only a 2-hour soak. This is getting added to my favorite list.

My husband and I loved this chicken. Not sure why there is so much discrepancy b/t people loving and hating this recipe. We thought it has a lot of flavor and I didn't top it w/ cheese. I am going to make this again and put the cheese on it next time.

This chicken barely had any taste at all. I read prior reviews, so I increased the spices in hopes of getting more flavor, but it wasn't enough.

Just made this tonight and it was full of all the flavors - lime, cilantro and .... a hint of the adult beverage. The cheese on top makes the chicken decadent. A definite repeat recipe.

Awesome!! My family loved this chicken and the Mexican rice casserole that goes with it. My 10-year-old loved the chicken and she has never liked any chicken off the BBQ, so that is a huge compliment. I can't wait to make this again.

This was great. I marinated the chicken for about 8 hours. After slicing cooked chicken and topping with cheese, I microwaved it just enough to melt cheese.

Made this for dinner tonight and it was really good. The only complaint I have is that you really couldn't taste the lime but I think that's because the limes I used didn't give off a lot of juice. Will definitely make this again

I saw Ree's show this week and was looking for a way to make my chicken for a big BBQ. I thought this was simple enough, so I gave it a try. I ended up using thin sliced chicken instead of whole breasts. This worked GREAT. I marinated for about 4-5 hours before putting the chicken on the grill. I also didn't have a chance to get the cheese on them because I got busy with other things and it got missed in all the action. The chicken was still really tasty without the cheese and all of my guests who had some of the chicken said it was outstanding. I will say that one jalapeno gave nice flavor and not a lot of heat and I was ok with that because we had a lot of kids. If you like more heat, then either keeps the seeds in or add more jalapeno or maybe sprinkle on some cayenne pepper. The recipe was just really easy and I think this will be my favorite way of making this chicken now.
