Saw this on the TV show and decided to make it for Christmas. Its a good bit of work when you make it for a big crowd - but it was well worth it. Delicious!! Made some using artificial bacon bits for the vegetarians in the group. There were no leftovers.

This is a keeper. The only thing I changed, the quantity of potatoes, I made a half batch as I was only serving 4 people for dinner. Very moist, flavorful and filling. Ree was right, the butter seems like a lot, but once you do the math it's only 2 T per potato. I will definitely make these again!

REALLY, REALLY, REALLY GOOD! I've tried so many twice-baked potato recipes I couldn't count them all--they were always dry. This was moist and perfect. I made them for a dinner party over the holidays, and loved that I could make them in the morning, refrigerate, and take them out an hour before popping them in the oven to reheat. I left them in about 15 minutes longer because of the refrigeration. I also left out the bacon and added Alaskan King Crab! Oh my gosh what a decadent treat. Served with Guy's Dry Aged Prime Rib Roast and Rachel's Brussels Sprouts with Bacon.
THANK YOU REE! I've also complained that "Pioneer Woman" isn't on anymore. I hope Foodnetwork wises up and brings the show back!

These potatoes are great anytime and pair well with a simple grilled chicken breast. It kicks up the flavor on plain dishes. My husband raved about the flavor! I make enough for two meals because they are such a hit in our home.

Made these for Christmas dinner with the Rosemary and salt crusted prime rib. It was a huge hit. Again minimal effort and big taste. I was surprised that the potatoes held up so well had always thought that you needed day old baked potatoes for twice baked, but they held their shape beautifully and accompanied the meal perfectly. Also after rubbing the potatoes down with oil I rubbed them down generously with Kosher salt. Two thumbs up and a new addition to my families recipe book.

Great recipe... love, love, love, these potatoes, this is my new go to recipe. I am also a fan of the show and hope Ree continues to share her recipes with us. I also tried Ree's Turkey recipe for thanksgiving and it came out wonderful. Thanks Ree
