I don't rate too many recipes a 5* but I had to make an exception on this one. It truly is delicious. I only used half the butter (it just isn't necessary to have that much butter for good taste and I used light sour cream. The cheese I had in the house was a cheddar, jack, gouda, provolone smoked blend. I think it was the smokiness that added that something extra to it.

YUMMY!!! I made these months ago from the Pioneer Woman cookbook and freeze all the extras for meals later on. When I'm not home the hubby can just pop one in the toaster oven, in fact my supply is gone so I'd better get busy. Recently made them for a dinner party for 20 and had 2 of the guests pull me aside to tell me they were the best they had ever tasted and that they had tasted plenty of others. Thanks Ree!!! Really hope Food Network keeps your show, it's awesome!

Delicious home style cooking! Thanks Ree. Not sure why this recipe is showing 1 star as the average when all the reviews that have posted are 4 or 5 star ratings. (and it says it only has one rating...

I use this recipe all the time. Just like my grandmother used to make for me as a kid. Great memories.

This recipe has all of my favorite flavors. It was a meal on it's own. Thanks for reminding me how good potatoes for dinner can be!

Everything I love. What more could you want....potato, butter, cheese and even more, It's a meal by itself. My cute niece, also a great cook, gave me a recipe for Twice Baked Potato Casserole. Using same ingredients, put filling mixture in casserole dish, top with extra cheese, and bake same as you would Twice Baked Potatoes. Incredible! Well, a salad would probably be nice.
