My family, boyfriend, and I really enjoyed this recipe! I did add a couple things though. I added a can of corn with juices b/c our family really likes corn. Secondly, I felt that the seasoning per the recipe was a little bland (maybe because of the extra can of corn with liquids, so I added some chicken bouillon seasoning for a more savory but not salty taste. Boy, it really brought the dish to life!

Very disappointed in this recipe. After reading several of the reviews I added cumin & frozen corn thinking it would add a little more flavor & substance to the soup, but it didn't. I found it too light, weak and lacking in flavor, and just seemed to be missing something. Although the chicken was tender and moist it was bland in flavor. If anyone has any advice for improvements I would love to hear them.

This recipe was so easy to make and delicious. My family loves this recipe, and always asks me to make it. One suggestion for those who don't like their food spicy: take the seeds out of the jalapenos. With the seeds in the soup is a little spicy.

ever! To save time and I use tortilla chips instead of tortillas. The chips even make it better!

OMG!!!! I am a soup lover, and I must say this recipe was delicious, I used olive oil instead of veg. oil and only 1 tablespoon of it. I also added cumin and a small can of corn & lots of cilantro but at the end. I also used organic tortilla chips (blue corn they are healthier and colorful.
Great recipe, my kids love it as well.

Even my picky eater boyfriend liked this. I just used a bagged tortilla chip and added 1 tbsp of cumin and it was wonderful!
