That is simply a great dessert! I used puff pastry dough, because that was what I had in the fridge, but it turned out just superb - the puff pastry is just a little salty, and sooooo crunchy, and it goes great with the sweetness of the apples and creaminess of the whipped cream... Next time I'll just cut the dough in really small rectangles cause I think it's gonna look even cuter in smaller servings and because it might be a little easier to eat.
    Thanks Giada!

This recipe is amazing! Although instead of roasting the apples, I sort of caramelized them in brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon. I think when u do that, u can still taste the feshness of the apples and its quicker! I'm gonna make this again soon but I'm gonna roast them next time and I might use vanilla ice cream instead. Some may disagree but I Luke to change up a recipe a little bit to make it my own. Giada, u rock!!

Very delicious! I don't have a round cookie cutter, so I used a fluted square cutter. I also sprinkled the top with cinnamon sugar instead of plain cinnamon. It was easy to halve this recipe to make it for two. My boyfriend wolfed his down and then scraped the crumbs off his plate.

This is my "grown" daughters new favorite dessert now. I cut the crust into wedges instead of circles, mainly to get the most use out of the crust, then brushed each wedge with egg white and sprinkled with sugar, then baked. Added a little flour to the sugar and cinnamon mix. This is one of my favorites that I will print and tape to the inside of a cabinet door with other favorites for easy access. Love your show, thank you for the wonderful recipes to share with family and friends.
