So good and easy! I used Greek yogurt for the sauce. This was something different and quick to make with few ingredients.

Call this "Grilled Chicken" since you are using your grill. Although it is also a source of dry heat, traditional roasting methods consist only of baking and cooking over or near an open fire (as in a rotisserie. Grilling is not technically roasting since you are using a grill/ gridiron.

Cumin is not smoky. Its aroma is earthy, almost vegetative. It may be strong, but it is spicy and sweet with an acrid but warm depth.

Even my very finicky husband liked the combination of flavors. The chicken is smooth and savory, the salad is tart and crunchy with a bit of a bite from the vinegar. The apple salad may be a learned taste. Pretty simple and quick to prepare.

I just made this, and the chicken with the yogurt dressing was really good. But the apples? Vinegar, dijon mustard, and parsley DO NOT go well with apples. I made it for myself, my husband, and my brother-in-law, and none of us liked it.
