First bite was good but garlic just over powered the steak. Will try again tomorrow with about 1/2 the garlic and a bit less of the cheese/balasamic to try to give room for the flavor of the meat to come through. Also, I'm heading to the butcher to get the best cut of NY steak I can!

This is an amazing steak recipe. I did not try the potatoes but I will in the future. I made the steaks and the cream sauce for my families candlelight Valentine's dinner last year and my husband went crazy for it! We had it along side Hassleback potatoes. It looked very elegant. I purchased dry aged steaks and I think that they were amazing with this dish. I followed the recipe for the steaks and the sauce as it says and it is amazing!!! You should definetly give this one a try. It is a new favorite in my house!!!

This is currently my favorite steak recipe. The amount of garlic in the recipe is a bit intimidating but the end result, believe it or not, is NOT overpowered with garlic. It is certainly a "garlicy" dish but it's fantastic.

I made this for New Year's Eve and 8 adults (so doubled the recipe. I used a large beef tenderloin that I then cut up into nice 2 inch individual steaks and then pan seared them. Everyone raved about the steaks.

I made my own version of garlic mashed potatoes and simply skipped the balsamic sauce. It is probably delicious as well but I don't think we missed it at all.

This Recipe was absolutely delicious. We had fun making this and had superb flavor. No need eating out when you have this recipe at home. We also used the rest of the stuffing in some salmon the following evening. Excellent!

I thought that this was an excellent recipe and very easy to put toghether. I used a little less garlic than what was called for but it turned out to be a great meal!

After I had finished the recipe, I realized that I had messed up somewhere. But after I tasted the steak with the balsamic cream sauce, it was still magnificent. I can't imagine how it will taste when I make it the right way!

I have been desiring to try a stuffed steak recipe for some time and was intriqued by the love of garlic this recipe called for. The steak was simply amazing, with every bite offering a unique and tantilizing surprise. The only recommendation I would suggest is that the garlic mashers use raw cloves instead of roasted, as the flavor of the garlic gets lost in the potatoes. Simply put though....amazing!

I just loved this recipe!!!! It sounded a little challenging and fancy from the title but it was really quite easy to put together. The thing that made this so easy was that it wasn't a race to get everything done all at the same time. The stuffing was spread-out steps that left you time in between to do something else. The whole family enjoyed this (yes even the kidsand it's something to use to wow your friends and family! I will definitely make this again and again and again!
