I made this for my husband's 40th birthday party. It was amazing - I think it was the best salmon I have ever tasted. The marinade cannot be beat! Everyone raved about it.

I have prepared this recipe many times and it is always a show stopper. I even invested in a big white platter to show it off to perfection.
Yes the marinade you actually make looks different from the dry (ish marinade Ina uses but mine works just fine. This time (tomorrow I will try to follow the recipe exactly instead of "eyeballing" the ingredients to the marinade and we'll see what happens. I also only use one fillet of salmon so I do cut things in half.

This was the perfect spring lunch! Made everything exactly the way that the recipe called for but without the anchovies. And, for those of you wondering about how to hard boil or hard cook eggs, this is the way that works for me and I never get the green ring around the yolk. I put the eggs in a pan in a single layer and cover with water by about an inch. I bring the water to a boil and then turn off the heat and cover the pan. I let it sit for about fifteen minutes and then drain them and run them under cold water. They turn out perfectly every time. Thanks Ina!

This is quite an impressive dish in more ways than one. Not only does it look elegant, but it tastes amazing, too! Our Easter brunch guests and I enjoyed it so much. I'll definitely be making this again and again!

We grilled the salmon instead of roasting it at 500 indoors (ill-placed smoke detectors, and instead of the green beans, we grilled asparagus just until crisp tender. VERY NICE PRESENTATION! I made the eggs the day before and the potatoes the morning of, everything else came together quickly. I will definitely add this to my spring/summer menu rotation.

I have been having Tuna Nicoise on the brain. Then I saw Ina make her
Salmon version and gave it a try. It is delicious and good for you. Will keep this in my menu rotation. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed. I love cilantro so that was my green of choice. Made the recipe to the letter.

When I was making the marinade, it seemed like there was too much mustard so I was worried, but it ended up being perfect. I couldn't taste the mustard at all because all of the flavors just melded together so well. It was also very beautiful to present. My only changes, added more garlic to the marinade and served it on a bed of greens.

This recipe has a definite wow factor and is so easy to prepare. The champagne vinaigrette is delicious and can be used on may other salads.

Loved it, but I mistakenly made the vinaigrette and baked it on the salmon. It was unbelievable. Also tried the marinade, but prefer the vinaigrette.
