Made this as part of a buffet for a bridal shower. Everyone loved it. Easy to do and made it in advance. Definitely a keeper.

Enjoyed the champagne vinagrette. Salmon prep was fast. In fact, the whole meal was tasty and made a good presentation.

Ina's eggs were not hard-boiled at 5 minutes, the yokes on the show were almost raw. If you couldn?t see that, you obviously can?t see to be polite and respect others opinions/questions. Your manners equal toast. I should be able to get a egg recipe from the site that is cooking eggs!!!!!! Isn?t that what the website is for??????

I spend a lot of time in the kitchen but don't make hard boiled eggs very often. Since the eggs on the TV show looked so awesome, pure white, strong yellow, I came here to fine the recipe so that I could try to duplicate Ina's success. The five minute cooking time seemed short to me so I was not surprised to read the review below about the runny yolks. After a quick web search I found this recipe. http://www.elise.com/recipes/archives/005251how_to_make_perfect_hard_boiled_eggs.php

    I
hope that works for you M.

To the reviewer below, if you need a recipe for cooking hard-boiled eggs, you probably shouldn't even be in the kitchen. That's like saying you need a recipe for toast. If you honestly don't know how to hard-boil an egg, do an internet search or ask anyone you know.

I wish Ina would include all important info in her written recipe on this site. There is no recipe for cooking the hard-boiled eggs :(
When I'm watching the show, it is difficult to write things down as I'm trying to watch the show.
She always leaves things out SHABBY SHABBY SHABBY. I emailed her once about hard-boiled eggs and the response was to buy her book. SHABBY SHABBY SHABBY

I pretty much made this because I needed to use up some ingredients and was surprised by how good it is. I tend to agree with another reviewer that the dressing is very vinagery. I tasted it almost threw it out and started over, but I was glad I didn't...it tasted great on the salad, especially the salmon. Those who dislike strong tastes will probably want a different dressing. I cooked the potatoes longer than the recipe said to because I like them softer. It had an impressive presentation, is healthy, and delicious. It would be great for a dinner party where guests are dieting or have food allergies (it's gluten free!. I will definitely make this again!

We just LOVE this salad recipe! It doesn't take long to make, once you get the hang of it, and it tastes just as great with grilled chicken or grilled shrimp or grilled fish. It looks elegant and tastes wonderful.
