My husband was pretty skeptical when I told him about this recipe, especially about the grapes. But he gave it a big thumbs up when he ate it. The only change I'd make would be to double the sauce amount as some of the other reviewers suggested. There really wasn't enough to dip a lot of bread into especially for four people.

Sausage and grapes? I would never have thought that this would be such an outstanding meal. I have to admit though I was skeptical aboutt this but very curious. I took the advice of others about making more sauce. It was so good I ordered the cookbook Cucino Simpatica in order to get more outstanding recipes. Go for it everyone!

Really delicious! Made the recipe exactly as written, but also tripled the wine and vinegar for more sauce, and I am so glad that I did! It was soooo good! Came out perfect. Made it with homemade faccacio bread and Ina's Basil Potatoes! Yum!

I prepared this recipe but increased the red wine to 1/5 cup and the butter to 4 tbs., increased the balsamic to 4 oz.. The grapes were plump and delicious. This was outstanding!
