Okay, I have to admit that because I did not have celery seeds or use lemon zest, the recipe may have been a little off; instead I used celery flakes and lemon juice. Nevertheless, it was still pretty tasty (along w/my cabbage and corn muffins. I will have to try the recipe again using the proper ingredients.

This chicken and the grilled vegetable basket was a huge hit. Thanks for helping me feed a picky eater. I will share this with my family at the beach on Labor Day!

These were the most moist and flavorful chicken breasts we have ever made. We grilled them along side of the marinade veggies from the show, why they put them in the oven is beyond me. When I was making the marinade for the chicken I thought it was a bit weird. After marinading over night, it was amazing the amount of flavor it had in parted into the breasts. Totally wowed my husband.

I normally use Paula Deen's recipes and ALWAYS have outstanding results. This time was no different. I didn't add the celery seed (didn't appeal to me or the lemon zest (didn't have any lemons and was still very pleased. I did add a little garlic powder. I also used chicken tenders (what I had on hand. I will definitely be using this recipe again...maybe next time I'll try boneless, skinless chicken thighs!

Experimented on my "NOT A CHICKEN FAN SON" he said this is a keeper, with one exception I think my lemons (zetst were too large, we could definitely taste the lemon. Before I slather the mayo/seasonings mixture I patted dry the chicken so that the mayo would not make a milky base on the chicken.
AWESOME CHICKEN...my son is taking the recipe back to college with him...Thanks again!

Cooked this last night and it was very tasty and easy to make. Chicken was moist. I would use less Celery Seed next time. Maybe use half or even less.

I fixed this chicken recipe this week and it is truly delicious. It is GREAT just as it is, but can be a jumping off point for adding more spices of one's choosing......I trimed the breasts and pounded them to a thickness of an inch......so that all the meat would cook through at the same time.....I then followed the recipe exactly......EVERYONE LOVED THEM.......Thanks, Bobby and Paula.....Barbara from RMt. For those that have made and served? How did you coat/slather the chicken? Entire chicken or top only? How thick? I made this receipe and was not overjoyed by outcome. Too salty...which I see may be b/c I salted the chicken and the coating was very salty as well. I also had lots of celery taste.. I only coated the top, not the entire breast. Thanks for the help for those that have cooked this receipe. I too thought this would be a great receipe and probably is, just need to tweak for me.

Great flavor and so easy! Even my 7 year old who doesn't normally like chicken loved this recipe! I just used one large lemon zest and it had a very strong (but good lemon flavor. I think 2 lemons might be too much. I was very light on the cayenne too since I was feeding kids. It was wonderful - very moist, flavorful chicken.
